Deltek wInsight Web

wInsight Web is an exciting new Inter/Intranet-based application specifically designed to support the sharing of performance data via standard browsers on a variety of platforms. It can be used to share information among geographically dispersed teams, or hosted on an Intranet to lower the total cost of ownership by reducing the amount of support required for installation and maintenance of the desktop tool. wInsight Web brings Deltek wInsight's celebrated sort windows, reports, trend charts and Deltek Glue schedule correlation to any client running version 4.0 (or higher) of Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, without requiring plug-ins, ActiveX controls, Java virtual machines or any other client-side software. Analysts and engineers can simply point their browser to a wInsight Web URL and begin evaluating project performance.

Deltek wInsight Web utilizes powerful wInsight Server Side Components to render wInsight sort windows, charts, reports and schedule Gantt views, on demand, into standard HTML. The HTML pages are then served to the client for viewing in the web browser.

Deltek wInsight Web includes a browser-based interface that supports executive users, CAM/IPT members and financial managers. The browser-based interface can be extensively customized or even completely replaced using standard HTML/Active Server Page programming. The wInsight Server Side Components are compatible with the wInsight 5.0 security model to ensure only authorized users have access to the performance data.

The default interface can be customized to your needs via standard HTML/ASP programming. Unlimited customization is possible, from simply inserting a program or corporate logo on existing pages, to pre-defining the charts and reports a user sees based on login information, to a complete overhaul to match the look-and-feel of an existing site.
• Security — The wInsight Server Side Components are compatible with the wInsight 5.0 security model to ensure only authorized users have access to performance information.
• No Plug-Ins Required — Since all of the power and intelligence of wInsight Web reside in the wInsight Server Side Components, no plug-ins, Java virtual machines or ActiveX controls are required on the client computer.
