Mark Wabschall works closely with Deltek's executive team to develop the company's financial growth strategy. Well-known throughout the financial community, Wabschall has more than 30 years of experience, most recently as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of webMethods, Inc., a leading provider of business integration and optimization software. During this time, Wabschall completed a number of acquisitions and coordinated various potential strategic combination transactions.

Prior to webMethods, Wabschall held various senior financial and operational executive positions in both the public and private sectors in the U.S. and Europe. He was Vice President of Finance for Innovative Technology Application, a Virginia-based government contractor. Wabschall was also the Senior Vice President of Operations for the Baan Company, an enterprise application software company based out of The Netherlands. He also held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for International Drilling Fluids located in London, England and was an audit partner with Arthur Andersen LLP.

Wabschall holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Ohio State University.
